Day 2 - Monday 15 September
Timed Giant Slalom - Skiing
Each division will complete in a timed giant slalom. Weather permitting, two runs will be offered with the best time counting. Starting order in each division will be by computer generated random numbers with the condition that all designated number one racers in any division will be listed to start before any number two racers within that division and so on down to the lower ranked racers.
Points will be awarded in each division separately based on the number of racers in each division. Eg, if there are 40 racers in a division, the fastest racer will receive 40 points, the slowest will receive 1 point.
There are individual placings in each of the four divisions, plus the final team points will be the total of the five (5) highest scoring members.
Slopestyle - Snowboarding
The slopestyle competition will held in the terrain park. Competitors will be judged on the Overall Impression Judging format. This score is based on 7 attributes: line, fluidity, speed, control, execution, degree of difficulty, and variety. Each judge will give a score out of ten.
Team placings in the slopestyle will be based on the best three (3) points generated by the respective age/gender divisions.
There are individual placings in each of the four divisions, plus team results based on the two highest scoring members.
